Belt Rail Not Included With This Listing
This is the powerhead on its own, for replacing a failed motor where the existing rail is in good condition and staying in place. It does not include a rail.
If you are replacing an existing MT60EVO or MS65MYQ, this powerhead is a straightforward bolt-on upgrade. It mounts using the same fittings and hardware, with no need to modify the rail or motor assembly.
If you are installing from scratch, or your old rail is worn, you need the full MS65MYQ kit with the 3.3m belt rail instead.
Stepping Up To More Power
The MS65MYQ handles sectional doors up to 13.5m² and 90kg. If your door is larger or heavier, the MS107MYQ Commander Elite II powerhead handles up to 20m² and 150kg, and adds battery backup compatibility.

Merlin MS65MYQ Powerhead Features
The Commander Essential is the entry model in Merlin’s Commander sectional range. Bought as a powerhead, it is the straightforward fix for a motor that has failed on an otherwise sound installation, keeping your existing rail and door hardware in place.
It drives sectional doors up to 13.5m², 2.4m high and 90kg, with 600N of pulling force from a quiet 24V DC motor with thermal overload protection. Soft start and soft stop keep operation smooth, automatic force sensing adjusts the force needed with every cycle, and the premium automatic safety reverse stops and reverses the door if it meets an obstruction on the way down. A manual release cord lets you open the door by hand during a power outage.
The supplied E970M four button remotes use Security+ 2.0 rolling code encryption, sending a new code with every press. By transmitting across 433.30, 433.92 and 434.54 MHz the remotes select the strongest frequency each time, which virtually eliminates interference and prevents code grabbing devices from replaying the signal. Transmitter range is up to 18% better than earlier Merlin models.
The MS65MYQ is myQ capable with the additional purchase of the myQ Gateway and Safety IR Beams, letting you monitor and control the door from your phone, set schedules and share guest access.
