Welcome to National Garage! We understand that buying products for your garage door, car, or gate can sometimes be confusing and mistakes happen. That’s why we strive to support you every step of the way. Our returns policy is designed to be clear and straightforward, so you know exactly what to expect. Here’s a quick overview:

- 60-Day Return Window
Any product can be returned for a refund within 60 days from the date of purchase. We don’t care if it’s a change of mind, you bought the wrong thing by accident or if it’s just no longer required, you’re welcome to send it back. - Notification Required
You must notify us (via email) that you intend to return an item, so we can notify our Returns Team. It just helps us speed up the refund when it arrives back in our warehouse. - Original Condition
All products must be returned in the original condition they were sent. If you’re sending something back in a condition that you wouldn’t have been happy to receive, we may not be either. - Returns Form
All returns must be accompanied by a National Garage Returns Form (Click Here).

60-Day Returns
At National Garage, we are proud to offer one of the longest return windows in our industry, giving you ample time to ensure that your purchase meets your needs. You can return any product for a refund within 60 days from the date of purchase. This extended period is part of our commitment to your satisfaction and peace of mind.
However, please note that some products are excluded from being returned. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on winding bars for torsion springs, garage remote or car key batteries, and custom-made garage doors. We also cannot accept returns on garage door or gate keypads where the factory pincode has been overwritten and you have forgotten your inputted pincode.
These items are either custom-manufactured or consumable products that we cannot resell once opened or used.

Returning Product Requirements
All products must be returned in the original condition in which they were sent. We understand that it is not feasable for the product to be unopened, but the items should be unused and undamaged. If you have installed the item or caused cosmetic damage to the item, or if a product is damaged due to improper packaging when being returned. we may refuse or adjust the refund amount for the return.
All accessories, parts, and any other items that were included with the product must be returned. This includes clips, screws, holders, blades, covers, batteries, keyrings, instructions, etc. This ensures that the product is complete and ready for resale.
While we do not offer exchanges for incorrectly ordered or accidental purchases, we will assist you in returning the product and help you find the correct item you need. Our team is dedicated to ensuring you get the right product for your needs.

Returning Product Costs
If you are returning a product because of a change of mind or an incorrect order on your part, you will need to cover the shipping costs. These costs will not be reimbursed. However, if we made an error, such as sending the wrong item, we will cover all postage costs. In these cases, no handling fees will apply.
For all other returns, handling fees will apply. These fees will be deducted from your refund amount.
– If you elected for free postage, a handling fee of up to 20% (to cover our initial cost of postage) will be deducted from the refund amount.
– If you paid for registered or express freight, we will refund the product cost but not the original postage cost. No handling fee applies when postage was initially paid for.
If a product is damaged during return due to improper packaging, a revised refund amount will be determined on a case-by-case basis to restore the product to a resalable condition. Proper packaging is crucial to ensure that the product is returned in its original state, and any damages due to inadequate packaging will affect the refund amount (or in extreme cases, return elligibility).

Your Consumer Rights
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
