Genius Echo Gate Programming Instructions
CODING VIA RECEIVER
- On the motor receiver, press the button for the channel you wish to program:
• SW1 to store Channel 1 (CH1)
• SW2 to store Channel 2 (CH2) - LED 1 or LED 2 will illuminate steadily, indicating the receiver is in learning mode.
- Within 10 seconds, press and hold any button on the new remote for 1–2 seconds.
- If programming is successful, the LED on the receiver will flash twice.
- The receiver will remain in learning mode after the first remote is stored. To program additional remotes (up to 256 total), repeat Step 3.
- The receiver will automatically exit learning mode 10 seconds after the last remote is programmed.
- To exit learning mode manually, briefly press and release either SW1 or SW2 after programming is complete.
CODING FROM A WORKING REMOTE
- Stand within 1–2 metres of the motor with both a working remote and the new remote you wish to program.
- On the working remote, press and hold the P1 and P2 buttons at the same time until LEDs L1 and L2 on the motor receiver begin flashing. Release both buttons.
- While the receiver LEDs are flashing, press the button on the working remote that currently operates the door. The assigned LED (L1 or L2) will begin flashing.
- While the LED is flashing, press and hold the button on the new remote you wish to program.
- The receiver LED will flash and then remain illuminated steadily. Release the button on the new remote.
- After approximately 10 seconds, the receiver LED will turn off.
