FAAC Gate Remote Programming Instructions
Programming Your Gate Remote
- Open the Motor/Control Panel:
- Locate the motor/control panel, which will either be on the gate motor or inside a box mounted to a wall near the motor.
- Locate the Receiver Board:
- Once the cover is removed, find the receiver board. This is a small circuit board attached to a larger circuit board.
- Identify the Learn Button:
- After locating the receiver board, identify the learn button (refer to the image for guidance).
- Press the Learn Button:
- Press and release the learn button. A red light will illuminate for 10 seconds.
- Program the Remote:
- Press and hold the button on your new remote that you want to use to control the gate. Hold it for 2-3 seconds. The light on the receiver will flicker, indicating the remote has been learned.
- Test the Remote:
- Ensure your new remote operates the gate correctly.
- Program Additional Remotes:
- If you have additional remotes, repeat steps 4-6 for each one.
Alternative Programming Method
- Press the + or Logic Button:
- Press and hold the + or Logic button located on the right of the motor.
- Press the Setup Button:
- While holding the + or Logic button, press the setup button. The Radio 1 LED will start to flash.
- Program the Remote:
- Release both buttons. Then, press and hold the button on the new remote that you wish to use to operate the door. Release the remote button once the Radio 1 LED stops flashing.
- Test the Remote:
- Ensure the remote operates the door correctly.
