ECA Red Garage Door Remote Compatibility
This ECA Red aftermarket remote control will suit the remotes pictured in the main image. Please note, if your remote control is not pictured this may not suit. Your remote must have red terminals, it will not replace the white or gold terminal remotes.
Whilst this remote may look similar to other black sliding cover remotes in the industry, this is not a ‘universal’ garage door remote.

ECA Red Remote Programming Instructions
FIRST METHOD: REMOTE TO REMOTE PROGRAMMING
- Take a working remote and stand approximately 2 metres away from the receiver.
- Press and hold buttons (III) and (I) together for 5 seconds.
• If this does not work, press and hold buttons (I) and (II) together instead. - Release the buttons on the original remote.
• The LED light on the receiver will turn on, indicating it is ready to learn a new remote. - On the NEW remote, press and hold the button you want to use for 5 seconds, then release it.
• The LED light on the receiver will turn off, confirming the remote has been successfully programmed.
Notes:
• This feature will only work if the WT jumper inside the receiver is set to OFF.
• To disable remote-to-remote programming, place the WT jumper back onto the receiver pins.
• Refer to the receiver diagram below for the WT jumper location.
SECOND METHOD: PROGRAMMING VIA THE RECEIVER / MOTOR
- Remove the jumper (circled in purple
• The LED light will turn on. - On the new remote, press and release the button you want to operate the receiver.
- Reinstall the jumper into its original position.
- Repeat Steps 1–3 for any additional remotes.
