About This Seal
Custom designed and moulded in Australia, this garage door floor seal creates a waterproof barrier along the bottom of your garage door, keeping out water, mice, rodents, leaves and dust. Measures 85mm wide × 18mm high with a hi-vis safety strip on top. As a solid rubber extrusion it’s strong enough to withstand trucks, buses and cars passing over it regularly without wearing away.
Suits roller doors, panel doors, tilt doors and sectional garage doors. Works on both concrete and paved floors, and fits all standard Australian garage door widths. Cut to length with a Stanley knife for a clean finish around door frames.
Unlike foam or brush seals which compress and lose shape over time, this solid rubber seal keeps its profile for years. UV stable, mould resistant, and built for Australian conditions — from coastal humidity to outback heat.
Common uses: stopping water ingress during heavy rain, keeping mice and rats out, blocking dust and leaves, and improving insulation by closing the gap at the floor.
Installation — About 30 Minutes
Clean the concrete surface of dust, grease and contaminants. Apply a 4–5mm bead of clear or translucent silicone sealant to the floor in a zigzag pattern, position the seal, press firmly and close the garage door on top for a minimum of 8 hours to cure. Do not drive over the seal during this period.
