B&D Plastic Garage Door Hinge #4 – OT6561
This genuine B&D plastic hinge #4 (OT6561) is designed for sectional garage doors and is used to connect the fourth panel to the fifth panel of the door. Manufactured from durable engineered plastic, this lightweight and corrosion resistant hinge provides reliable articulation between door panels as the door travels along the curved sections of the track.
Garage door hinges allow sectional doors to bend smoothly as they move between the vertical and horizontal tracks. By enabling the panels to navigate the curved sections of the track correctly, the hinge helps maintain proper door alignment and smooth operation throughout the opening and closing cycle.
Designed as a direct replacement for hinges stamped with the number “4”, this component is commonly used on B&D sectional garage doors and forms the connection between the fourth and fifth door panels.

When to Replace Garage Door Hinges
Garage door hinges experience constant movement and load as the door operates. Over time hinges can crack, fatigue or break, particularly if the door springs lose tension.
Replacing damaged hinges helps maintain correct door alignment and prevents additional strain on rollers, cables and other garage door hardware. If a hinge has failed, it is recommended that the door system be inspected or serviced to ensure all components are operating correctly.
