B&D Worm Gear Kit Compatibility
The B&D CAD4 was rebranded under a number of different names, including Easylift, Merlin, Centurion, Firmamatic and more. They all use this worm gear. The following motors are compatible with this replacement kit:

B&D Worm Gear Kit Features
The B&D Control-A-Door 4 drive gear and worm kit lets you carry out a DIY fix when the white drive cog breaks. A common cause is running the smaller cog on the dual sprocket, which puts heavy strain on the unit for the sake of a 1.5 second faster opening speed and can snap the shaft or shred the gear. A complete installation guide is included. You will need basic tools: a ladder, screwdriver, socket wrench and assorted sockets.
