How Do I Replace My Audi Car Key Case?
Replacing your Audi car key case is very simple and can be done by anyone. You only need a small, flathead screwdriver (or similar tool) and 1 minute.
- Press the button on the rear of the case to release the car key blade.
- On the reverse side of the silver button, a flush black button has been revealed. Press this and pull down to remove the battery holder.
- On the underside of the top of the case, you can see a small tab. Using a flathead screwdriver, pop this up. This will allow you to remove the silver buttons and black rubber covering.
- Remove the circuit board from your older car key and insert into the new car key case.
- Put the car key back together. You can either insert your old car key into the case, or get the new and included blank car key cut from your local locksmith.
What Is Not Included?
This Auto Openers AOAU-CK06 is a replacement case only. This product will include a key case shell, blank key blade and rubber buttons.
The AOAU-CK06 does not include the car key internals, such as the circuit board. This product is not a functioning car key remote.
