This kit will suit the below remote controls. It will not suit the PTX4 or PTX5 range of remote controls, as they are a different shape and will fall out of the remote control holder.

ATA PTX-6 Visor Holder Features

Designed specifically for the popular PTX-6 remote control, this kit allows you to easily mount and secure your garage door remote control to your vehicles sun visor. You can also use the included screws ans wall plugs to mount the remote control to a wall or pillar!

Want to know how the remote control works? The PTX-6 remote control has four buttons, which will allow you to code this remote control into four different door or gate openers. The PTX-6 remote control features a rolling code encryption called TrioCode128, which generates a new code each time the button is pressed from trillions upon trillions of possibilities. By transmitting across three frequencies, the PTX-6 all but eliminates interference problems, meaning your garage door will open with every press of the button. Due to the remotes high security, only your garage door remotes will ever open your gate or door preventing code grabbing devices from ‘replaying’ the code to open your garage door.
