You don’t need to be a tradie or expert to figure out the right roller door size, with our simple measuring guide.
Start by measuring the opening in your wall (known as the daylight opening), it’s easier than you think!

1. Measure the width of your daylight opening.

   • If it’s under 3430mm, add 50mm to the width.

   • If it’s over 3431mm, add 100mm.

     For example, a 2500mm wide opening would require a 2550mm wide door.
     This extra space ensures the door fits neatly behind the opening for a flush installation.

2. Measure the height of the opening.
   In this example, the opening is 2200mm (2.2m) high. A 2200mm high roller door will suit any opening up to 2200mm high.

3. Check your headroom.
   For a 2200mm high door, you’ll need at least 440mm of headroom.
   Headroom is the vertical space between the top of your opening and the ceiling or roof above.

Once you know your garage door width, just select the matching width bracket on our website.
For example, if your opening is 2500mm wide, as you need a 2550mm wide door you would choose the 1851–2550mm bracket.
