Built specifically for Australian and New Zealand conditions, the Merlin SOLAR-KIT combines a high efficiency 40W solar panel, dual 18Ah batteries and a durable IP65 rated power enclosure to provide reliable day and night operation across a wide range of gate automation applications. Whether installed on a sliding gate, swing gate or commercial gate system, the Merlin Solar Power Kit is designed to keep your property secure and accessible with minimal ongoing maintenance.
The included adjustable mounting hardware allows the solar panel to be positioned for maximum sunlight exposure, helping improve charging performance and battery efficiency throughout the year. For properties with lower sunlight conditions, the system is also expandable with the addition of a second 40W solar panel for increased charging capacity.

The Merlin SOLAR-KIT is designed as a complete standalone solar power solution for compatible gate automation systems. Featuring a durable IP65 rated construction and engineered specifically for harsh Australian and New Zealand environments, the system is ideal for properties exposed to heat, rain, dust and changing weather conditions.
The included 40W solar panel helps maintain reliable charging performance throughout the day, while the dual 18Ah battery setup provides high capacity power storage for dependable overnight and low-light operation. This allows your gate opener to continue operating smoothly even during periods of poor weather or reduced sunlight exposure.
For installations located in heavily shaded areas or sites with high daily gate cycles, a second 40W solar panel can also be added to improve charging performance and increase solar collection capacity.
The included AC charging adaptor also provides additional flexibility, allowing the battery system to be manually recharged during extended periods of low solar radiation if required.
