Genius Blizzard 400C Features

Hailing from Italy, the FAAC-based design group Genius have manufactured the Blizzard series of sliding gate openers to come packed in an unobtrusive design, with a versatile and easy installation process.
For the DIY installer, we feel that the 400C is safer than the larger 500c, due to the circuit board. The 500c gate opener utlizes a 240V live circuit board, which can be incredibly dangerous. We prefer the 400c, as it uses a more DIY-friendly 24V board.
The Genius 400C suits gates up to 9m wide and up to 400kg in weight. With an average opening time of 200mm/second the gate will be open in time for you to drive out without waiting for it. The FAAC 400c also has obstruction detection, to help prevent accidental damage to your family or possessions. Able to used in temperatures ranging from -20° to 55° C and IP44 water protection, the Italian designed Blizzard 400c motor is capable of handling anything Australia has to throw at it.

The Blizzard 400c sliding gate kit is simple to install, with a screen able to guide you through the limit setup.
