How to Program an B&D TB-7 Garage Door Remote

1. Press and release the red Code Set or black Door Code button.
2. On your remote control, press any button for two seconds, then let go. Wait 1 second.
3. Press down the same remote button for two seconds, then let go.
4. You may now let go of the red Code Set or black Door Code button.
5. Test the operation of your new TB-7 garage door remote!

Programming a TB-7 to a SDO-6 Secure or SDO-7 Smart

1. On your CAD Secure or CAD Smart, press and release the Mode button until the LED above the remote control symbol is illuminated.
2. Press and hold the blue Down symbol. Do not release this button until step 5.
3. On your remote control, press any button for two seconds, then let go. Wait 1 second.
4. Press down the same remote button for two seconds, then let go.
5. You may now let go of the blue Down button. Press the Mode button once to confirm the programming of the remote control. If you do not press Mode after following steps 2-4, the remote control will not work.
6. Test the operation of your new TB-7 garage door remote!

How to Clear / Delete Remotes From Your Garage Door Opener

1. On your CAD Secure or CAD Smart, press and release the Mode button until the LED above the remote control symbol is illuminated.
2. Press and hold the Mode button. The main courtesy light will start to flash around 5 seconds, then after 10 seconds will turn off.
3. Test that your remote no longer operates the motor
   – Please note, this will clear every remote programmed into the motor.
